MENS BOWLS NEWS 23/03/2026

The Final of the Club Fours was played over the weekend and what a thrilling match it was. The team of Peter Mead, Glenn Williams, Terry Preston and Ken Trow taking on Mick Tarbert, Phil O’Reilly, Blayne Cook and Zac Curtis. At just over the halfway point of the match on 13 ends Team Trow found themselves 10 shots behind Team Curtis but Trow’s team scored a succession of shots winning five out of the following six ends to claw their way back into contention of the Championship at 18 all with two ends to play. Team Trow were holding the shots required to win the match but Blayne Cook played a couple of inspiring shots on successive ends to seal the title for Team Curtis. Congratulations to both Finalist on a Cracking Game.
