A big day ahead for South Tamworth at the State Senior Triples Championships, with both of our teams progressing through to today’s semi-finals at the time of writing.
In the Senior Men’s Triples, Gordon Cheney, Greg Harris and Jeff Myers will be flying the flag for South, while in the Senior Women’s Triples, Carol White, Cath Verdich and Chris Myers have also earned their place in the final four.
This follows a fantastic showing from our South bowlers at the State Para Championships, with Keith Roberts claiming gold in the Para Reserve Singles, Des Cross and Troy Rogers taking silver in the Para Pairs, and Aaron Kelly and Brad Gilbert narrowly missing out on a bronze medal.
Congratulations to all our South bowlers on an outstanding run at state level, and good luck to both triples sides in today’s semi-finals.
