MENS BOWLS NEWS 14/04/2025
Unfortunately our Super 6’s were not successful in their bid to secure the Regional Grade 6 Open Pennant Championship. Congratulations to Gunnedah on their win and we wish them the best at the State Finals.
Over the weekend South Tamworth hosted the Regional Grade 7 Open Pennant Finals and the final round was a cliff hanger. With only 2 points between Murrurundi and Manilla leading in to the final round with Manilla on top of the standings. Murrurundi secured the required 10-0 win they needed against Bendemeer, only to see Manilla finish with a win against Moree to become the Regional Champions. Congratulations to the Manilla team and all the best to them when they compete at the State Championships.
The draw for the Mixed Pairs Championships and the Minor Fours Championships are on our noticeboard. Games can be pre-arranged between teams but please notify of your intention to do so

Entries are open for the Minor Singles which begins on Saturday 14th of June. A
nomination sheet is on the noticeboard. Closing date is Saturday 24th of May. This will be
our final competition for the current bowls year.
100 Club Roster
A sheet is on the noticeboard for volunteers to help with the 100 Club on the 1st, 4th and
5th (if applicable) Friday of the month. All members benefit from the money raised so
please don’t leave it up to the same people all the time.
