Kev's inherent musical ability is impressive. With a Solo Act that incorporates musical influences from mainstream country to rock, superb vocals and musicianship. Along with a repertoire to suit every taste.
After moving to Tamworth in the 90's from the Far North Coast of NSW, Kev emphatically announced his presence as one of the founding members of the multi-award winning Spencer Band with his sister Pam. His input was instrumental in the band's chart success with two Top 10 hits and two songs making the Top 20 on the Australian Country Music Charts in 1999. Kev also took out a TIARA (Tamworth Independent Artist Recognition Award) for best Male Vocal in that same year.
In 2000, the Spencer Band had to take an indefinite break due to Pam's forced retirement. Kev wasted no time in enlisting the talents of multi-award winning singer-songwriter Brenda-Lee Heathcote, to form the very popular duo "Oak St".
Kev took a break in 2003 to pursue business and family commitments but his long awaited return to the music scene was eagerly anticipated by many loyal fans. His musical Career has seen Kev perform all over the country and it doesn't matter if he's playing on the big stage or singing a few songs in a small pub in Central NSW, Kev prides himself on his musicianship and strong vocals which sets the basis for one of the smoothest sounds you're likely to hear.
